When you register, we collect details you provide such as your name, date of birth, contact details, religion, education, profession, family details, lifestyle preferences, and any photos or ID documents you choose to upload for verification. When you use our Chat Room, we store the messages you send so they can be delivered and displayed to the recipient.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and display your profile to other members for matchmaking purposes
- To verify your identity and improve trust on the platform
- To process membership payments and send related confirmations
- To respond to your enquiries, appointments, and support requests
- To send service-related communication via email, SMS, or WhatsApp
3. Who Can See Your Information
Your profile details (as filled by you) are visible to other registered members through Search Profiles, so they can consider you as a potential match. Your phone number and documents are only visible to you and our verification team, not to other members, unless you choose to share them directly in chat.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase's infrastructure with access controls (Row Level Security) so that only you, and administrators for verification purposes, can access sensitive information like uploaded documents.
5. Payments
We do not store your card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. Payments are made directly via UPI or bank transfer, and we only record the transaction reference (UTR) you provide for verification.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to keep you logged in and remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your Rights
You may request to update, correct, or delete your profile information at any time by contacting us. Note that some information (such as transaction records) may be retained as required by law.
8. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for data storage and authentication, and may use WhatsApp/Meta's messaging APIs for reminders. These providers process data only as needed to deliver these services.
9. Children's Privacy
ShaadiMubarakIndia is intended for adults eligible to marry under Indian law and is not directed at minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
